Healing - Faith - Drugs

The hidden agenda to the use of drugs

Here is what the scriptures tell use to do if we have any sick among us. Take note it makes no mention of seeking outside help other then calling on God. These scriptures are the foundation of divine healing.

James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: (15) And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. (16) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Is God able and willing to heal us?

Matthew 4:24  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

Mark 1:34  And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

Act 28:8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him. (9) So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:

Here, Jesus was confronted by a man who asks to have his son healed. There are a couple of key points listed here:

·        The man was ask if he believed, his answer was yes, You must first believe

·        God (Jesus) does not have to be physically present to heal

·        God only has to speak and we are healed

John 4:46 So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. (47) When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. (48) Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. (49) The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. (50) Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. (51) And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. (52) Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. (53) So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.

Another story of the power of God

1Kings 17:17  And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him. (18) And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son? (19) And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. (20) And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? (21)  And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again. (22) And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. (23) And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth. (24) And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.

So if God is able to heal us, and we believe that he can, why are we still sick?

If God sees fit to not heal us, it’s for our own spiritual good. Sometimes we tend to use God as an umbrella, only in a time of need, and put him away when the sun is shining. But if it were always raining, we would always need the protection of the umbrella. When we are weak (sick physically, mentally, aches or pains of any size) we tend to be closer to God and lean on him for strength. This is why Paul takes pleasure in his infirmities.

2 Corinthians 12:7  And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. (8) For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. (9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (10) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Jesus ran into this same issue here in Mark 14:36.

·    Jesus knowledge’s that his Father can do anything

·    He asks that his “thorn in the flesh” be removed

·    However he asks that it only be removed if it’s Gods will

·    As we know it was not removed

Mark 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

When we are saved we have the Holy Spirit of God dwelling with in us. Our bodies become the temple of God. We can no longer allow our bodies to become defiled in anyway. We are Gods walking temple (we are not gods but have God within us). Here are some excerpts from the bible on this matter.

Ye are bought with a price -1 Corinthians 6:20.
Ye are not your own -1 Corinthians 6:19.
Ye are the temple of God -1 Corinthians 3:16.
Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost 1 Corinthians 6:19.
Ye are God's building -1 Corinthians 3:9.
Your bodies are the members of Christ-1 Corinthians 6:15.
He that soweth to the sprite shall of the sprite reap life everlasting
-Galatians 6:8.

We are told to:

Romans 12:1 Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.

1 Corinthians 6:20 Glorify God in your body.

1 Corinthians 3:9, 16-18-Ye are God’s building. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the sprite of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, Him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is Holy, Which temple ye are. Let no man deceive himself.

Ok one more thing to ponder then I’ll move on:

Tattooing was probably practiced in ancient Egypt, as it is now by the lower classes of the modern Egyptians, and was connected with superstitious notions. Any voluntary disfigurement of the person was in itself an outrage upon God’s workmanship, and might well form the subject of a law. I realize this was written back under the law, but I believe this still pertains in today’s world.

Leviticus19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

Ok now unto the taking of drugs:

In the Revelation, the word "sorceries" appears in 9:21; 18:23; 21:8; and 22:15. It is taken from the Greek words, PHARMAKEIA, PHARMAKEUS, PHARMAKON, and PHARMAKOS. These can be defined as medication, pharmacy, pharmacist, druggist, magic arts, magic spells.

There are two types of magic. There is the so called black magic and there is white magic, however it's my belief that you can not have "good" magic or "bad" magic, magic is magic.

This is like when the anti-Christ first makes himself known to the world, he will perform many wonders and their will be "peace". At face value if a person brings world peace it must be a good thing right? However the underlying effect is that Satan is using an outwardly show to deceive many people, and his whole intent is to draw people away from God.

This is what Satan is doing with the medical profession today. Today magic potions are created in the medical labs as well as the occult. Medicine is the mixing of herbs to produce a particular affect. If people can be healed or cured by these drugs it's not any different then believing in the anti-Christ for bringing unity to the world. With this in mind, all drugs and the medical profession are of Satan.
